Ken Warren, after his departure from the Air Force in 1987, sustained himself by playing professional Texas hold ’em poker. He later extended his skills to Omaha poker and has since been a regular victor in both games. Warren has penned three other books, one of which is the best-seller, Winner’s Guide to Texas Hold ‘Em Poker. His residence is in Shawnee, Kansas.
Warren persistently provides simple lessons for typical hold’em players, focusing on strategies and tactics necessary to make money in current games. Besides comprehensive chapters on fundamental moves, Warren chooses the most relevant questions from the thousands he receives, to address topics that players need to understand to enhance their game.
